Beets have been associated with lots of health benefits. For example, folate is one of the B-vitamins, important for normal tissue growth and cell function (1)

Did you know? A diet high in potassium can lead to reduced blood pressure levels and have positive effects on cardiovascular health (2). Studies have also shown that beetroots, or beetroot juice, can reduce blood pressure by up to 3-10 mm/Hg over a period of a few hours (3, 4, 5, 6).
